Lesson spaces are starting to fill up, but I still have times available most days. I’ve started teaching in East Kilbride so if you live in that area and are looking for piano or accordion lessons just get in touch. I’ve got some new books of current hits for piano, so even if you’re not that interested in classical music there’s still plenty of tunes to try.
I currently have some lessons available at my piano teaching job in Paisley. I work there on Mondays and Tuesdays, so if you live in the vicinity and are looking for something fun and useful to do then just get in touch.
In addition to the books I mentioned in my previous post about piano books, I would also recommend ‘Tunes for Ten Fingers’ by Pauline Hall. It’s especially good for young children. Although similar to the ‘Me and My Piano’ book in the way it introduces one note at a time, the main difference is that the left hand comes in much sooner.

If you’re starting out piano, there are many good book choices. For younger beginners I recommend Me And My Piano, they go quite slowly adding one note at a time and give each new note a new colour. For older children and adults, the Piano Time books are very useful, they take you through everything faster than Me And My Piano. I’ve also heard good things about the First Piano Adventure book, but I’ve not used it myself.
